FAQs

Do I need a doctor referral to be seen by a physical therapist?

No, a referral is not required to be evaluated or treated by a physical therapist in the state of Texas.

It is important you have direct access to a physical therapist when you need it most. If you have experienced an injury or are having progressive difficulty completing an activity we encourage you to schedule as soon as possible to address the issue.

You can schedule today and in most cases be seen within a 24 hour period.

Do I need health insurance to be scheduled?

You do not need insurance to be scheduled. We do not take insurance, but we do take Medicare Part B. Depending on your Medicare plan, you may qualify for PT at no cost to you. Most plans require patients to pay 20% of the visit which comes out to be about $20. If you have a supplement insurance with your Medicare, you will pay nothing out of your pocket for the entirety of your physical therapy.

You can receive the best physical therapy available without paying overpriced deductibles, copays, or monthly premiums!

Do you accept my health insurance?

No, we do not accept insurance as we only take Medicare Par B. We do NOT take Medicare advantage.

If you do not have Medicare and are willing to forego utilizing your insurance, we charge $180 per physical therapy visit. This includes all the modalities such as adjustments and dry needling.

For those with insurance, we are considered an "out of network" provider. We can provide you with a comprehensive bill that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. However, we cannot guarantee the amount your insurance will reimburse you.

What locations are Home Physio services offered?

We will go to you where you are in the Tyler and Lindale area.

What is the difference between Home Physio And Home Health Services?

Home health patients are required to be "home bound" to qualify for services. Home health is reimbursed by insurance companies. Home Physio patients are not required to be home bound to be seen in their home, and we do not rely on insurance companies for reimbursement. We are considered an outpatient service designed to make it more convenient for our patients by bringing outpatient to your home.

HOWEVER, you cannot receive home health services and Home Physio services at the same time.
